Throughout her career, she has worked extensively in television, directing episodes of numerous popular comedy and drama series while remaining a respected figure in entertainment and music video history.

Her critically acclaimed Documentary “The Best Summer” recently premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC. The film captures performances and behind-the-scenes moments with bands including the Beastie Boys, Sonic Youth, Foo Fighters, Pavement, Beck, Rancid, and Bikini Kill.

The project originated when Davis discovered a box of Hi8 videotapes while evacuating during the 2025 Palisades wildfires. Rather than adding modern narration, she assembled the film as a time capsule of the era, featuring candid backstage interviews and intimate tour footage.
